Red Fort (Lal Quila) One of the most famous Mughal emperors, Shah Jahan, built the Red Fort, also known as Lal Qila. Built on the banks of the river Yamuna, the palace was designed by architect Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. It took 8 years and 10 months to build the beautiful castle.
