Budhia Singh – Born to Run film is a true story about the world’s youngest marathon runner, Budhia Singh. Biography of Budhia Singh
Budhia Singh was born in 2002. After his father’s death, his mother Sukanti sold him to a dealer for Rs 800. However, later with the help of a group, Budhia returned home. Although the story of the Buddhist tribe is also interesting.
Local judo coach Biranchi Das asked Budhia to run as a punishment, but when he came after 5 am, he was surprised to see her running. Budhia’s Early Life Story
Due to their poverty, Singh was sold by his mother to a traveling salesman for ₹850 when he was two years old. As a result of the subsequent abuse, his mother found Biranchi Das, a local judo teacher and orphanage caretaker, and asked him to take the boy. Biranchi returned Singh’s purchases to the merchant, and the boy lived with Das and other orphans in a local judo hall.
One day Das found him to be a “bad man”. He punished him by making him run, but he forgot; he returned after five o’clock and Singh was still running. After a medical examination, it was found that his heart was healthy even after running for hours. He then began training her to run marathons. By the age of four, Budhia had run and completed 50 marathons.

Das was shot dead at Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar College on the evening of 13 April 2008. Das’s killing was unrelated to his treatment of Singh; this led to Das incurring the wrath of the activist, Raja Acharya, when Das allegedly tried to defend a model, Leslie Tripathy, who was being harassed by Raja. Das’ killers, Sandeep Acharya (alias Raja), and his accomplice, Akshya Behera, (alias Chagala) were sentenced to life imprisonment in December 2010.
