Jodhaa Akbar is a well-made love story and a war-based drama
Jodha-Akbar is a blend of extraordinary romance, dramatic action, melodious music and beautiful cinematography. This is one of those rare films that must be seen if you want to witness something special. This movie has a lot of fight scenes and has everything to please everyone. But on the other hand, the film is slow and long. The first half of the film is more than 2 hours long, but the twists and turns will keep the audience glued to the film.
Hrithik is awesome as Akbar and Aishwarya is wonderful as Jodha, best direction, Ashutosh presents another blockbuster which goes in the same line as Lagaan and Swades by cutting few scenes. like a film based on war. The movie lacked pace and the slow narration of few scenes and the frequent use of Urdu language left the audience confused and bored.
And on the other hand, even though the movie is more than 3.30 min long, it is very interesting and very interesting. The director should edit the movie and make it a 3 hour movie to make the audience love this movie more. The big cast of Hrithik-Ash playing the roles of Akbar and Jodha may have stirred up a lot of interest among the audience before its release, but I have to admit that the film is almost alive. up to expectations.
The love part is well handled and that is the main point of the movie. This movie shows the legacy of Akbar. The movie also shows that Akbar did many good things to Hindus. I don’t think the movie will hurt religious feelings. The director did a great job in maintaining the balance.
The background music by AR Rahman is very good and the music is also good. terrible music. Especially Azeem-O-Shaanshahensha, it is truly one of the best songs filmed in the history of Indian cinema. All in all, a movie worth watching.

- Ashutosh Gowariker approached actor-screenwriter Haidar Ali with the idea of making a film based on K. Asif’s Mughal-e-Azam (1960). Shah Rukh Khan, who starred in Gowariker’s Swades, has been approached to star in Jodhaa Akbar. The actor turned down the job because of his long commitment to filming. Jodhaa Akbar is the third collaboration in a row between Gowarikar and AR Rahman, after Lagaan and Swades.
- Roshan learned Urdu to prepare for his role as a Mughal emperor. He also learned sword fighting and horse riding from Aishwarya.
- Filming has started at the ND studio in Karjat. Most of the scenes were shot in Rajasthan, especially around Jaipur.
